MRP was contacted by Director Publications in May 2004. Initially MRP was asked to review the direct costs relating to the production of their publications and make recommendations to reduce these costs. MRP highlighted an overspend in the area of print and paper. We asked a number of printers who MRP is connected with to quote on their various publications and as a result was able to reduce overall print costs by 32%.
Following its successes at reducing the production charges relating to their magazines we were asked to review all production costs across the group. Preliminary evaluations have highlighted a saving of 18% to be made in this area.
The client has now asked us to help them set up a new division within their organisation.
